Australian TV worth watching

So I just watched this half hour comedy show that was f'ing hysterical, called the Ronnie Johns Half Hour. Aside from the strange looking semi-retarded wanna be pseudo-American cowboy bits, it was awesome! I'm starting to enjoy some Australian tv (not including Neighbors and Home & Away of course), like The Farmer Wants a Wife (Steve even took some time off from the car forums to watch this with me when it was on) and McLeod's Daughters (how in the world do they get away with pronouncing that Mick-lowd's?!). It's happening...I'm being assimilated. Pretty soon I'll be saying 'I Reckon' without even thinking about it:/

I reckon you'll have no worries, mate.

I'll never say I reckon!!! Reckon to me is what my relatives in Arkansas say. I don't mind picking up aussie slang... but I don't want Arkansas slang slipping out!

Good luck with the move! You need some quality Aussie TV. Try underbelly when you get here (wednesday night, although maybe not the best introduction to Australia it is good none the less) and All Saints (providing you like hospital dramas). Thanks for visiting my blog and I saw you made the Sloppy Joes :D Hope you liked them!

Just saw my 1st episode of Underbelly here in NZ the other night. Pretty good, although it was very odd to see mobsters with Aussie accents lol. Haven't made the snobby joe recipe yet but will do shortly. I typically grab recipes and post them to share as well as remind myself to make them;)
