This is how I feel today, in regards to Australian customer service. More to come depending on the outcome of my encounter with Barbeques Galore tomorrow.

I have spent the last week finalising the purchase of a car and I hope it will be a long time before I need to buy another one.

Talk about sales pressure, if I didn't need to urgently update my car I would have walked out... or maybe it is just car salespersons that behave that way.

Not buying a bbq but trying to get the hearth for the combustion heater so we can...finally...get it installed. They told me it would be 2 weeks, it dragged to 3, and we had ordered both a corner and regular hearth, only to be told they won't be getting the latter in, and that we could have the floor model, but then when we went in found out the floor model isn't even the right size, so we're hoping the corner works, or we will need to return that hearth and get one made. Hubs is going into the attic tomorrow to have a look and do some measurements (it's very hard to tell with the beams plus we were having a hard time deciding between the 2 of us where we wanted it, hence trying to order both...original plan was to determine our preferences then let the installer decide and return one hearth).
