"Whereas the tourist generally hurries back home at the end of a few weeks or months, the traveler, belonging no more to one place than the next, moves slowly, over periods of years from one part of the earth to another." -Paul Bowles

Yippee...moved and on-line
Happy dance three times over! I’m all moved in, I’m online (so anyone with yahoo messenger…you know the drill), and I’ve got a date on Sunday night. Now, just have to work on all those papers;)
Glad you got the internet going - felt really guilty to leave it half done, but I was under orders!
Hope things settle for you now

No worries! Thanks for all of your help. As you know, I got on-line eventually…I think access can sometimes be spotty here, which is better than nothing and better than doing everything at uni.
There are 5 other people living in this section and we all share a kitchen. I went in last night to put my things away and one of the other fellas living here and a friend of his made me dinner…some kind f kabobs with some flat bread…really good. Everyone in this section is an international student…India, Greece, Nigeria, Thailand, so many good smells coming from the kitchen. Offered to cook them sloppy joe sometime. I’d love to trade off cooking;)
Trying to get stuck into my work today has not been easy. I find it way too easy to procrastinate and feel an almost paralysis when trying to begin to write. It’s almost 9pm and I have nothing much done, after getting up at 2pm. Have to keep a positive attitude…it will get done eventually. There is a huge sense of ups and downs for me these days, but guess that’s natural, especially given how many moves I’ve had in the past year and a half.
