It is so much fun to have classes with peeps who come from other countries, where English is not their native language. Just got out of a class in which one of my classmates was laughing about the fact that in the article she was assigned to read (part of some group work) it was stated that plants were psychologically damaged by tourists and transport. I thought it was amusing and odd, to say the least, until I looked at her article and read....physiologically which point it became utterly hysterical;)

Another classmate did not understand the term "I hit the jackpot" when I mentioned it to him earlier. He said: "I don't understand. A jackpot is in the casino." Ah, the things we take for granted...
